Cynthia Tucker is an American journalist and commentator known for her work in newspapers and on television. She was born in Monroeville, Alabama in 1955. Tucker worked as a columnist for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution for over 25 years, where she won a Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 2007.
Tucker has also appeared as a political analyst on various television programs, including CNN's "Reliable Sources" and "The Situation Room." She has been a strong voice for civil rights, social justice, and progressive politics throughout her career.
In addition to her journalism work, Cynthia Tucker has also served as a visiting professor at the University of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. She continues to be a respected and influential voice in the media landscape.
